Sameer Benyan moved to 79 Thorncliffe Park Drive in 2016 with his parents. They came as refugees from Saudi Arabia. They are currently on rent strike against their landlords Starlight and PSP agains Above Guideline Increases to their rent which they believe are being used to push lower-income tenants like themselves out of the building.
